The Prodigal Brother

'Never trust an Elf!' This is something any Dwarf will tell you, I found out the hard way.

Of my early life, there is little to say, being raised in Stormwind with my siblings, growing to manhood and being initiated into the Path of Light, then into the Order as you all no doubt have.

However, for my many sins, I undertook a penance crusade, leaving the homelands and travelling far, even to another world, (the outlands), where my crusade was to start.

Due to my martial prowess in the arts of defending the weak, I had been instructed to relay my skills to those . . . not entirely suited to this specialisation, thats right, Elves.

I met this auspicious group in the demon infested outlands, - a perfect place to demonstrate the abilities and power of the Light.

To make a long story short, after months of fighting demons and other enemies of both the Alliance and the Order, alongside these High Elves, I had instilled in them the belief in the Power of the Light, trained them how to use this ability in their fight against their own enemies, and they learned well, slaying many fiends of the void.

Those High Elves held me in high regard, I was welcomed and praised for my martial prowess (although such praise is irrelevant), I was as close to being a member of Sylvan House as any non Elf could be.

However, I had been betrayed, these were not High Elves at all, but lying, scheming Blood Elves, allied with the Horde, the House of Sylvanus.

With realisation came outrage, I slew many of my former students, but they had dispersed amongst their populace, I could not trace them all, but I vowed to kill any Blood Elf I found, and would actively seek out those individuals that betrayed me.

So now, I have returned to my Brothers, the Prodigal One.

As I said at the start, NEVER trust an Elf.
