[RP] Attacking the order of Illumination

The dark mage sneers up at the statue. The priest who maintains the tomb lying dead at his feet.
"Is this is Dracanos? Not very grand for one of their best hero's is it?"
The dark knight merely shrugged. The expression behind his mask unreadable.
"Bah! They will pay for their insulence!"

Tivak pulled up his hood and began to prepare a spell. Staring at the statue pouring with light the hatred on his face clear and obvious. The blizzard stuck the small temple hard. Smashing into the roof and scattering Debris onto the floor. Dracanos's ghouls ran into the building to do further destruction but they were buried in the rubble.

"Pffft. It is done then"
The mage turned away satisfied.

(( The damage was not much as only two of us were there. It should also be easily repaired. Mainly some damage to the roof but I doubt Tivak has the power to break such a spell))

Asraphiel & Ullric hurried down the passage towards the inner sanctum, stopping outside to as the two Templar honour-guards outside stepped forward to bar there path.
‘Halt. Who goes there, friend or foe?’ the paladin’s voice echoed out from the visor of his gilded helmet.
‘We are friends sir’ replied Asraphiel
‘Advance friend & identify thyself’ the guard’s voice was deep & resonant. Asraphiel wondered which of the Templars it was.
‘Asraphiel & Ullric, Neophytes of the Order’
‘And what Neophyte, do you want with the Lord-Militant? The other honour-guard spoke, his voice cold & harsh, made Asraphiel shudder.
‘We bring a message from the Plaguelands sir’ replied Ullric ‘it just arrived with instructions to bring it directly to the Lord Macloren’ the Honour-guard’s helmeted head turned to regard the Neophyte.
‘I do not recall asking you a question, boy’ Ullric’s eyes widened in surprise at the Paladin’s tone & he began to stammer an apology which the Honour-guard cut off with a warning finger.
‘& whether you are in his presence or not you will refer to him as the Lord-Militant Macloren’
‘Yes sir, my apologies sir’
‘It is not to me you should be apologising Neophyte’
‘No sir, of course’ The Paladin stared at Ullric for what seamed like an eternity then returned his gaze to Asraphiel.
‘Now Neophyte, what do you want with the Lord-Militant?’ Asraphiel coughed nervously then replied.
‘We bring him a message sir, from the Plaguelands, it is of the utmost importance that it be delivered to him straight away’
‘Well lad’ The first Honour-guard said in his rumbling voice ‘I pray for your sake that it is good news you bring, The Lord-Militant is in a foul humour this morning’ he turned and opened the door to the sanctum, gesturing for the Neophytes to pass through, they exchanged a worried look before entering.

Azeem closed the door behind the two Neophytes. After a few moments there came the sound of Macloren’s outraged bellowing accompanied by splintering furniture.
‘Bad tidings then’ said Cartheron
‘It would appear so my friend’ replied Azeem as the door flew open & two terrified Neophytes came sprinting out followed by a triad of curses and half a chair.
Azeem watched them disappear up the corridor then turned to his comrade.
‘We should probably find out what that was all about’
Cartheron looked back into the sanctum, the Lord-Militant was in the process of demolishing a bookcase.
‘Let’s give him a moment to get his little temper tantrum out of his system’ he reached in & pulled the door closed again. ‘He’s always much happier after he has broken something.’
